Blue Buoy Cottage

Blue Buoy Cottage is a period property in Brixham, built over four floors with sea views from every level, looking out over the fish market, marina and breakwater across the bay to Torquay. The sitting room has French doors onto a decked balcony and a wood burning stove for cooler visits, while a staircase leads down to the kitchen and dining room, where bi-folding doors open onto a large enclosed decked terrace with outdoor seating.

Three bedrooms sit on the upper floors: the main bedroom has a double bed and French doors onto a Juliet balcony, the second bedroom has a double bed, and the third, on the top floor, has two single zip-and-link beds that can be made into a superking on request. That top bedroom is up a narrow staircase with limited head height under the sloping ceiling, so it may not suit guests with limited mobility. A shower room sits on the lower ground floor and a family bathroom with a bath and shower on the first floor.

The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine, and every bedroom has its own TV alongside WiFi throughout. Gas central heating covers the cottage, with fuel, power, bed linen and towels included in the rent. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available on request, and roadside parking is nearby.

No pets are allowed and the cottage is no smoking throughout. The harbour is a 5-minute walk away, the pub 2 minutes from the door, and the shop about 10 minutes on foot.
