The Oriel

This first-floor apartment sits in the heart of Lynton, reached via a staircase up to the front door. Inside, an open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting room forms the main living space, with two sofas and an armchair around a Smart TV, a dining table set beneath a pair of large sash windows, and a fitted kitchen with granite worktops, hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, wine chiller and dishwasher.

There are two bedrooms. The king-size bedroom has a vaulted ceiling, a dressing area, full-height French doors onto a glass Juliet balcony, and its own en-suite with a walk-in power shower and WC. The second bedroom is a double with its own French doors onto the balcony and a feature wall, and it is served by a separate family bathroom with a walk-in power shower and WC. A washer/dryer is housed in the cloakroom cupboard, and underfloor heating runs throughout.

There is no garden at this property, though the Juliet balcony is accessible from both bedrooms. Internet access is available, and a Health & Fitness studio opposite offers private gym and yoga classes for those who want to book in separately. Parking is available at Lyndale Cross pay and display rather than on site, and the beach is around a mile away with a pub and shop closer at hand.

The apartment sleeps four and welcomes babes in arms alongside guests aged 14 and over only, so it is not suitable for younger children. One dog is permitted, with additional charges possible. Check-in runs from 4pm and check-out is by 10am, with dressing gowns, slippers, towels and a welcome pack provided on arrival.
