Chapel Loft

This apartment occupies the upper floors of a converted chapel in Lynton, within easy walking distance of the town centre and its independent shops, pubs and cafes. The property sleeps four guests across two bedrooms. Lynmouth beach lies 1 mile away, where you can swim, surf or fish. The Victorian water-powered railway descends from Lynton to Lynmouth, offering coastal views, and the South West Coast Path runs in both directions from the village for longer walks.

The main living space combines an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area on the second floor. An electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer are provided alongside a washer/dryer for laundry. A twin bedroom and bathroom with shower over the bath and underfloor heating occupy this level. Climb a further flight of stairs to the double bedroom, which has its own en-suite shower room. Low, sloping ceilings run throughout the property.

The apartment has no external space, but its central location puts country walks and the beach within reach. You can park one car on site. A travel cot and highchair are available, and a welcome pack is provided. Two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply. Bring your own beach towels. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00.
