The Old Forge

The Old Forge is a single-storey annex in Bickerton, on Devon's South Hams coast close to Start Point and Hallsands. It suits couples, sleeping 2 in a king-size bedroom, and arrivals and departures are not permitted on Saturdays or Sundays.

The living and dining room is warmed by a woodburning stove, with a starter pack for it included in the rent, and a TV is provided for evenings in. The king-size bedroom is served by a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. The property and its garden are reached via steps, so it may not suit guests with limited mobility.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, and electric central heating covers the rest of the annex. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent, a highchair is available, and WiFi is provided, though the rural setting can mean both mobile and WiFi signals are poor.

Outside, a multi-level garden has a lawn, patio, furniture and a barbecue across its different levels. Off-road parking is provided for 1 car, and the coast is close by, with a beach around 0.3 miles away, a pub 2.4 miles and a shop 3.8 miles. No pets are allowed and smoking is not permitted.
