The Hayloft - Burton Farmhouse

The Hayloft is a reverse-living barn conversion set within a working farm near Galmpton, arranged over two floors with separate entrances. The ground floor holds the super-king-size bedroom, fitted with a Smart TV and an en suite shower room with WC, while the living space sits upstairs, reached either by outside steps or an internal staircase.

Upstairs, the open-plan living and kitchen area is centred on a wood burner, with a welcome pack of logs provided for the first fire. A small dining table seats guests for meals, and the kitchen, though compact, is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher. A sofa and separate armchair sit alongside a second Smart TV in the lounge.

Outside, guests have use of a shared patio with seating directly by the barn, and a short walk away there is a further shared area with a barbecue and pizza oven, available to other guests staying on the same farm. Off-road parking is provided for two cars. Being on a working farm, guests should expect agricultural activity nearby, and dogs cannot be accommodated at this property.

Hope Cove lies under a mile away, with Salcombe reachable a little further along the coast for its estuary, shops and eateries. A pub is roughly a mile from the property, with a shop around 1.5 miles away and the beach approximately 1.6 miles distant. Check-in runs from 4pm, with departure required by 10am.
