Shippen

Shippen occupies the first floor of Hope Beach House in Hope Cove, reached by metal steps from the allocated parking space below. Inside, the sitting room looks out over the cove and across to Burgh Island, and the sandy beach is around 70 yards away. The apartment sleeps 3 across two bedrooms and one bathroom.

A kitchen/diner comes fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher, with a bench-style dining table for meals in. The sitting room has a double sofa bed and a Smart TV, and a small snug tucked into the eaves holds a single bed, useful for a child. The double bedroom sits alongside, and the bathroom has a bath, overhead shower, basin and heated towel rail.

Electric heating, fuel and power are included in the rent, along with bed linen and towels. A washing machine is housed in the garage, and there's allocated parking for 1 car plus roadside parking nearby. The communal rear garden has a lawned area, furniture and a barbecue, with a shared decked terrace attached, though it can be slippery when wet.

Shippen takes one well-behaved dog. Smoking is not permitted, and the property is not suitable for children aged 8 or younger. Steps lead from the parking area to the entrance, worth planning around if anyone in your group finds steps difficult.
