19th-century cottage for two in Lynton village centre

This 19th-century cottage stands in the centre of Lynton, a village positioned at the top of the North Devon coast. The property spreads across three storeys with steep internal stairs between each level. It sleeps two guests in one double bedroom situated on the second floor, with an en-suite shower room and WC.

The ground floor contains a kitchen/diner with electric hob and oven, microwave and fridge. The first-floor sitting room features a wood burner for warmth during autumn and winter months, alongside a TV, DAB radio and CD player. The cottage has no external outdoor space, though green space and the beach lie within 1 mile.

Lynmouth lies 0.5 miles downhill, offering a harbour, shingle beach and the famous water-powered funicular railway connecting the two villages. The South West Coast Path runs nearby in either direction along the Devon coastline. Exmoor is accessible for walks and drives. The village centre provides a shop and pub within 400 metres. One dog is welcome, or two small dogs; additional charges may apply.

The cottage is not suitable for babies; children who are not yet mobile are welcome. Guests must be able to manage steep stairs to reach the bedroom and living spaces. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00. Towels are provided. Internet access is available.
