The Cottage on The Square sits on the town square in Chagford, reached on foot through the churchyard from the nearby car park, with independent shops, pubs and cafes around 0.1 miles away. It suits two couples or a family, with a stylish, homely interior throughout. The staircase up to the bedrooms is traditional and steep, and there are several steps through the property, so it's worth taking care.

The sitting room has two sofas and a Smart TV, and the kitchen/diner is fitted with an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, plus a dining table for home-cooked meals in. A cloakroom with basin and WC sits on the ground floor.

Upstairs, two double bedrooms share a bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin and WC. Gas central heating runs throughout, with underfloor heating in the kitchen/diner and bathroom, and WiFi covers evenings in after exploring the town.

A rear enclosed courtyard gives a spot to sit outside. Parking is in the town car park around 5 minutes' walk away, where daily tickets are available, or in 2-hour marked bays in the town centre. No pets are allowed and the cottage is no smoking throughout.
