Granary Cottage - Chagford

Granary Cottage sits a mile from Chagford, the Dartmoor market town known for its pubs, independent shops and bakery. The cottage sleeps four across two bedrooms, arranged in a reverse-level layout with living space upstairs and bedrooms on the ground floor.

The open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining room occupies the first floor beneath a vaulted ceiling, with a wood burner (first basket of logs included), a Smart TV with DVD player, and doors opening onto a balustrade. The kitchen is equipped with an electric AGA, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, air fryer, Magimix coffee machine and a washer/dryer.

Downstairs, the super-king-size bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom with a hand-held shower over the bath and a door leading out to the seating area, while the double bedroom has an en-suite shower room. A separate WC on the ground floor completes the accommodation, and a selection of games is provided for evenings in.

Outside at the front of the cottage is a private, enclosed gravelled courtyard garden with garden furniture, a charcoal barbecue and loungers for dining outdoors in fine weather. Private off-road parking is available for two cars. Children under six years old cannot be accommodated, though babes in arms are welcome. Two dogs are permitted, with additional charges applying.
