Butterwell Cottage at Collihole

Butterwell Cottage at Collihole is a stone cottage set over three floors, in a tranquil spot just outside Chagford on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. It sleeps 4 across two en-suite bedrooms: a lower-ground-floor super-king-size room, convertible to twins on request, with a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC, and a king-size room with a roll-top bath, handheld shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC.

The open-plan living space combines the kitchen, dining and sitting areas around a woodburning stove, with an electric AGA oven and hob, a fridge, a dishwasher and a Nespresso coffee machine, plus a separate utility room with a washing machine, a second fridge/freezer and a microwave. A Smart TV with Sky, a Sonos sound system and WiFi are provided, and fuel, power, a woodburner starter pack, a welcome pack, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent.

Off-road parking is provided for 2 cars, and outside there is a lawned garden with furniture. There are internal steps and traditional stone flooring in places, worth bearing in mind when booking.

Butterwell Cottage does not accept pets, and smoking is not permitted. A minimum stay of 4 nights applies for short breaks. The shop is 1.8 miles away and the pub 1.9 miles.
