The Cosy Cowshed

The Cosy Cowshed is an all-ground-floor cottage in the countryside near Dalwood, in the Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It sleeps 4 across two en-suite bedrooms, a double and a twin that can be made up as a king-size on request, both renovated with contemporary interiors and high-vaulted ceilings.

The open-plan living space has a woodburning stove, high-vaulted ceilings and a kitchen with an electric oven and induction hob, fridge/freezer, and a dining table for the whole group. Both bedrooms have their own shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC, and underfloor heating runs throughout the cottage.

Large patio doors open onto an outdoor patio area with seating and BBQ, looking over open fields, with an outdoor sofa and dining table for meals outside. Washing machine and tumble dryer are included, off-road parking is available for 2 cars, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all covered in the rent.

One well-behaved small or medium dog is welcome. Smoking is not permitted, and the pub and shop are about a five-minute drive away. The TV at the property is a 24 inch set, and October and May half-term bookings run to 7 nights only. The cottage can also be booked alongside the neighbouring Culverwells if you need extra accommodation for a larger group.
