The Cider Barn

The Cider Barn is a barn conversion attached to the owner's farmhouse on a working 100-acre Devon farm in the village of Luton, about 3.5 miles from Teignmouth. It sleeps 4 across a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, sharing a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC.

The open-plan living area combines a kitchen, dining space and sitting area with an electric fire, and there are no TVs in the bedrooms. Wood pellet central heating covers the cottage, with fuel and power included in the rent, and the kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. A TV with Freeview and WiFi are provided in the living area, plus a travel cot, highchair and stairgate for younger guests.

Outside, a private courtyard has a garden and furniture, a quiet spot given the surrounding fields and orchards on the farm. Off-road parking is provided for 2 cars.

No pets are allowed and the cottage is no smoking throughout. Bookings run to a minimum of 3 nights outside school summer holidays, half term and Easter, when a full week's stay is required instead. The nearest shops are about 3.5 miles away in Teignmouth and the village pub is around a mile from the cottage.
