Tanglewood Cottage

Set in a small hamlet along a quiet country lane within the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Tanglewood Cottage sleeps four across two bedrooms and suits couples, small families or groups of friends looking for a peaceful rural base. The double and twin bedrooms are upstairs, sharing a wood-panelled bathroom with a roll-top bath, a large walk-in shower and a WC. A further WC is located on the ground floor.

The living room has a feature fireplace and French doors that open directly onto the garden. The dining area occupies a partial conservatory with a wooden roof and large windows on all sides, giving views across open countryside to the Tamar Estuary beyond. The kitchen is equipped with an electric hob and oven and a fridge-freezer, and a Smart TV is provided in the living space. A laundry room adjacent to the cottage houses a washing machine and tumble dryer, shared with guests staying at the other small holiday let.

Outside, the cottage has a private decked area with outdoor dining furniture, plus lawns and flower borders. Private parking is available for one car, and a Go Zero 7kW EV charging point is on site, operated via an app by scanning a QR code. A travel cot is available on request. Two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply. Guests should bring their own beach towels.

Bere Alston, with local shops, is roughly 2.5 miles away, and the village of Bere Ferrers with a traditional pub is a similar distance in the other direction. Tavistock is around 8 miles away, and the nearest beaches at Whitsand Bay and Wembury are approximately 16 miles from the cottage.
