Clamoak Cottage

Clamoak Cottage dates from 1815 and stands in the hamlet of Clamoak, on the Tamara Coast to Coast Way in the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, about a mile and a half from Bere Alston. Both the conservatory and the living room look out over views of the Tamar Estuary, and the cottage sleeps 4 across two bedrooms.

The super king-size bedroom and the king-size bedroom are both zip/link rooms, and the king-size room has its own en-suite shower room; a second bathroom with a bath and shower over serves the rest of the cottage, alongside a ground-floor cloakroom. A woodburning stove warms the sitting room, and the kitchen combines an Aga, used for cooking through the winter months from January to March, with an everyday electric oven and induction hob.

Outside, a side and rear lawned garden gives space for dogs to run, and the terrace overlooking the water is a spot for morning coffee or watching boats drift past. Off-road parking is provided for two cars, with bike storage also available. The kitchen has a washer/dryer and dishwasher, and the sitting room has a Smart TV, Sonos music system and WiFi throughout, with hairdryers in both bedrooms.

Clamoak Cottage welcomes two well-behaved pets, with dog beds and towels provided. The shop and pub are a mile and a half away in Bere Alston, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Smoking is not permitted.
