Stonewood Lodge

Stonewood Lodge is a single-storey lodge at Hartland Forest Lodges, around 3 miles from Woolsery. Steps lead up to the property, which has a stone wall and wooden panel exterior around an open-plan living space with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area, and sleeps 4 across two bedrooms.

One bedroom has a king-size bed with an en-suite walk-in shower room, and the other is a twin that can be made up as a king-size on request; both have their own TV. A separate bathroom has a bath, shower over, basin, heated towel rail and WC. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, and electric central heating covers the lodge.

Three TVs, a selection of books and DVDs and WiFi are on hand for evenings in. A private decking area with outdoor seating looks over the surrounding trees, and a further enclosed decking area with furniture gives space to sit out. On-site fishing across three lakes is included with the booking.

Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome, and the lodge is no smoking. Off-road parking is provided for 1 car, and a shop and pub are around 3.1 miles away in Woolsery, which also has a bakery and the Grade I listed All Hallow's Church. Bideford and Bude are both around 13 miles off.
