Hunters Moon Hartland Forest

This lodge sits within Hartland Forest on a single floor, making it practical for couples or families with older children. The open-plan lounge and dining area has a Smart TV, an electric wall-mounted fire, and a dining table seating four. Games and board games are on hand for quieter evenings. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, electric oven and hob, microwave, and a Lavazza coffee machine (pods not included). The double bedroom has double aspect windows and ample storage; the twin bedroom includes a dressing table and wardrobe space. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, WC, and heated towel rail.

The gated decked balcony wraps around the side of the lodge, providing woodland views and space for bistro seating and lounging chairs. Coarse fishing is available on the two on-site lakes at extra cost, with a licence required. Walking routes run directly from the doorstep through the forest, and there are designated picnic areas around the lake. Parking is ample and reached by a 200-metre walk from the lodge.

Woolsery is close to this forest setting, with a pub 1.5 miles away and a shop 3 miles distant. Hartland Quay beach is 3.5 miles from the property. Guests receive passes for discounted facilities at Penstowe Manor Leisure Centre, 8 miles away.

Children under 8 years old are not accepted. Two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00.
