Moonlake Lodge

Moonlake Lodge is a single-storey lodge within Forest Golf & Leisure Park in Woolsery, sleeping 4 across two ground-floor bedrooms. The double bedroom has a TV and views over the grounds and lake, with an en-suite bath, overhead shower, basin and WC. The twin bedroom also has a TV, and a separate shower room with a walk-in shower, heated towel rail, basin and WC serves both rooms.

The kitchen, dining room and sitting room complete the lodge, with a Chesterfield sofa and TV in the sitting room and patio doors leading out to the wraparound decking. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and a slimline dishwasher. There are three TVs in total and WiFi throughout, with electric central heating.

Outside, the wraparound decking with furniture is a good spot for morning coffee or an evening drink, taking in the surroundings of the leisure park. Designated parking covers 2 cars on-site.

The village of Woolfardisworthy, known locally as Woolsery, is 3.1 miles away, with Hartland Forest and its Forestry Commission woodland nearby. The Gnome Reserve and Wildflower Garden and Hawker's Hut, the smallest property owned by the National Trust, are both within reach, and the Hartland Devon Heritage Coast offers coastal walks along the clifftops.

Moonlake Lodge welcomes two well-behaved dogs, and bookings run to a minimum of 3 nights, with check-ins taken on Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays. Smoking is not permitted. The nearest shop is 3.2 miles away and the nearest pub 2.3 miles.
