Ford Mill Dairy

Ford Mill Dairy is a cottage set within ten acres of farmland near Woolsery, where a fishing lake and river sit on the owner's land. The property is approached by a gravel path and adjoins the owner's farmhouse. The North Devon coastline and its sandy beaches are eight miles away; Hartland Quay and Clovelly are accessible by car.

The lounge has a wood burner with the first basket of logs included, a Smart TV, DVD player and board games. Four steep cottage-style steps from the dining room lead up to the kitchen, which is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The double bedroom has a TV and a large en-suite shower room with WC. The king bedroom has zip-and-link beds convertible to a twin on request. A family bathroom with shower over bath and WC is accessed from the kitchen, with the washing machine housed in a separate cupboard reached by a couple of steps.

Outside, a fully enclosed private garden with table, chairs and a BBQ area catches afternoon and evening sun and is reached from the back door. Steps lead up to a grassed area with a private gate onto the owner's farmland, where dogs are welcome to run free. Central heating serves the whole cottage, ample off-road parking is available, and a travel cot and highchair are on hand for families.

Fishing lake access is on site; bring your own rods. Shops and a pub are two miles away, and some online grocery deliveries are accepted locally. Arrival is from 14:30 and departure before 10:00. Two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply.
