This stone cottage sits over three floors on a hillside above Lynton, reached via a few steps up into an open-plan lounge and diner with a wooden floor, wood burner and views over the rooftops below. The kitchen, up a couple of internal steps, is fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, a separate fridge and a washing machine.

The first floor holds a twin room and a single room, along with a shower room and a separate WC that has no hand basin. A garden room on this level offers a TV, books and games, with French doors opening onto a rear decked terrace and tiered garden. The second floor is given over entirely to the master double bedroom, which has sea views in one direction and countryside views in the other, along with an adjoining bathroom featuring a roll-top bath and WC.

Outside, the decked terrace leads via steep stone steps up to a raised, tiered garden with a covered seating area, coastal views and a charcoal barbecue. The steep steps make this garden better suited to adults than to young children. Parking is on the road subject to availability, or in the public car park nearby; there is no dedicated on-site parking.

The property sleeps five across its three bedrooms and welcomes one dog, with additional charges possible. Wi-Fi is available throughout, and a first basket of logs is included for the wood burner. A travel cot and highchair can be provided on request, though the internal steps between floors and the steep garden steps are worth bearing in mind when booking.
