Squirrels Lodge

Squirrels Lodge is a single-storey lodge in South Molton, styled inside with a Narnia-inspired theme, from a wardrobe-style front door to a lion statue among snowy tree-lined walls. It sleeps 2 in a king-size bedroom with its own en-suite shower room, and no children are permitted at the property.

The open-plan living space brings together the kitchen, dining and sitting areas around a woodburning stove, with a Smart TV for evenings in. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a fridge with icebox, kettle and toaster, ready for simple self-catered meals, and the dining area gives a quiet spot for slow breakfasts.

Outside, the garden has decking, lawn space, furniture, a barbecue and a hot tub beneath the open sky. Off-road parking is provided for one car, and there are a few steps up to the lodge, so please take care. Electric central heating covers the lodge, and fuel, power and a woodburner starter pack are included in the rent.

Squirrels Lodge takes two well-behaved dogs, at an additional charge per pet. The traditional market town of South Molton holds its Pannier Market every Thursday and Saturday, close to the lodge, and Barnstaple's Tarka Trail is within reach for a day out along the river. Smoking is not permitted, and the nearest shop and pub are 2.3 miles away.
