Snowdrop Lodge - Roadford Lake

Snowdrop Lodge sits within a small complex close to Roadford Lake, in the parish of Broadwoodwidger, near Launceston. The lodge sleeps six across three bedrooms: a king-size master with an en-suite walk-in shower with rainfall attachment and WC, and two twin rooms, one of which has zip-and-link beds that can be reconfigured as a super-king on request. For last-minute next-day arrivals, one bedroom may already be made up and cannot be changed before you arrive. Two dogs are welcome, though an additional charge may apply, and all dogs must be kept on a lead at all times on site.

Inside, the open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area suits easy group living. The kitchen includes a range-style cooker with gas hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, wine cooler, dishwasher and washing machine. Smart TVs are fitted in the lounge and all three bedrooms, with a sound bar in the living area. Two cars can park on site, and two shared EV charging points are located near reception in designated spaces, operated via the VendElectric app at the user's own cost.

The south-facing terrace is enclosed by a secure gate and coated mesh fencing, with outdoor dining furniture for six, a parasol and a BBQ holder for disposable BBQs (bring your own). A private hot tub is included, though for very last-minute bookings the supplier cannot guarantee it will be at temperature on arrival day. Guests are asked to supervise dogs and children outside, as the enclosure may not fully contain determined pets or young children.

A shared gym is available to all guests on site at no extra cost, and a woodland path leads directly to Roadford Lake and its café and children's woodland play area. The nearest shop and pub are around three miles away. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure by 10:00.
