Skippers Cottage - Brixham

Skippers Cottage sits in Brixham, a short walk from the harbour, and has been refurbished across its three storeys to sleep up to six people. The layout spreads guests over several levels, so those who struggle with stairs should note there are a few steep steps within the property itself.

The first floor holds a double bedroom with views over the town and a twin zip-and-link room that can be converted to a super-king on request, along with the main bathroom (shower over bath and WC) and a utility cupboard housing the washing machine. Climb to the second floor and you'll find a snug with further views over Brixham, plus the master bedroom, a king-size room with a Smart TV and its own en-suite shower room.

Downstairs, the ground floor is given over to an open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner, with soft furnishings in the lounge area and a Smart TV. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. Outside, a small enclosed rear garden offers space for a bistro set, suited to morning coffee rather than large gatherings.

Parking is on the roadside in nearby streets, subject to availability, or a weekly permit can be bought from the local council for use in public car parks; there is no dedicated parking with the property. Wi-Fi is included, and a highchair and travel cot are provided for younger visitors. Dogs are not permitted. Beaches, shops, pubs and restaurants are within walking distance, though Brixham's steep hillside means some routes involve steps.
