Siskin Cottage

Siskin Cottage sits on a quiet no-through country lane in Lynton, sleeping four across three bedrooms. The king-size, double and super-king zip-and-link rooms are all upstairs; the zip-and-link can be configured as a twin if requested at the time of booking. One shower room with a walk-in shower serves the whole cottage.

The open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area has slate floors and windows that frame uninterrupted views of the Bristol Channel. A wood burner with a first basket of logs included takes the edge off cooler evenings, and a Smart TV with super-fast fibre optic broadband covers wet-weather downtime. The modern kitchen includes an island, electric oven and hob, slimline dishwasher, microwave, washer-dryer and fridge-freezer.

A front patio with table and chairs makes the most of the channel views and works well for morning coffee or an evening drink. Shared steps behind the cottage lead up to a multi-layered patio rock garden with garden furniture, a fire pit and a hammock. Children and animals should not be left unsupervised in this area. On-street parking is available subject to availability.

One dog is welcome, though additional charges may apply. The Valley of Rocks is a short walk away, and the cliff railway connecting Lynton to Lynmouth is nearby. Arrival is from 17:00 and departure is by 10:00.
