Seagrass

Seagrass sits on the outskirts of Bideford, a riverside property with off-road parking and a hot tub in the rear garden. Both bedrooms are on the ground floor: a double with an en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC, and a super-king-size room that can be set up as a twin on request, plus a separate bathroom with a bath and overhead shower.

The open-plan living space has a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a wood burning stove, and a first-floor games room with table tennis and a selection of games. Note the restricted head height in the sitting room. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, washing machine and dishwasher, and there's a TV, DVD player and WiFi.

Outside, a rear enclosed patio and lawn have furniture, a barbecue and the hot tub, a spot for alfresco dining before an evening under the stars. A highchair, travel cot and stairgate are also available, useful for younger guests.

Off-road parking is provided for 2 cars, and up to two well-behaved pets are welcome and included at no extra charge. The property is no smoking throughout. The shop and pub are 0.7 miles away, the river 0.1 miles, and the beach 4 miles. Bookings run from Friday to Friday, and a gardener visits the grounds every Friday.
