Lower Stone

Lower Stone is a single-storey property set beneath the owners' home, reached through private gates and down a short flight of external steps. Entry is via French doors into a hallway with space for boots and coats, leading through to an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area furnished with a corner sofa, a breakfast bar and a Smart TV.

The two bedrooms sit off the hallway on the same level: a super-king-size room and a double room with a mezzanine single bed reached by a small wooden staircase above it. There is one bathroom with a bath, his-and-hers basins, a separate shower and a WC. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, and a travel cot and highchair can be provided on request.

Outside, a covered seating area with a bamboo roof, lighting and a dartboard opens onto a lawn with outdoor games, a fire pit and a charcoal barbecue, giving plenty of room for children to play. Off-road parking is provided for one car, with additional roadside parking nearby subject to availability. Internet access is available throughout the property.

The apartment lies close to Bideford, with its quayside, shops and restaurants, and within easy reach of the coast path and nearby beaches. Two dogs are welcome, with additional charges applying. Arrival is from 15:30 and departure before 10:00.
