Sea View Cottage

This cottage sits above the harbour in Brixham, reached by a private walkway to the front door. It sleeps up to four adults and two children across three bedrooms, making it suited to families or small groups happy with a single shared bathroom.

The ground floor holds an open-plan lounge and diner with a dining table, corner sofa, TV and DVD player, plus a patio door onto a harbour-front balcony. The kitchen is fitted with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Upstairs, the first floor has the king-size bedroom with dual-aspect windows looking towards the harbour and the bathroom with a shower-over-bath and WC. The second floor holds a double bedroom with sea views and a bunk bedroom for children.

The decked balcony off the lounge is the main outdoor space, suited to alfresco meals or a drink while looking over the water. Wi-Fi is included, along with bed linen, towels, and electric and heating costs. One dog is welcome, with additional charges applying.

Brixham sits on a steep hill, and access to parts of the village and some properties involves steps, which is worth bearing in mind for anyone with mobility concerns. This cottage does not have private parking, as many streets in the area are unsuitable for cars, though alternative parking is available in local car parks. Charging an electric car is not permitted at the property. Beach, pub and shops are all within walking distance.
