This cottage sits in the village of Instow, on the estuary where the Torridge and Taw rivers meet, within walking distance of the sandy beach, shops and pubs. The ground floor opens straight into a combined lounge, kitchen and dining space, furnished with two sofas, an extendable dining table and a feature fireplace fitted with a wood burner-effect electric fire. The kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave and a fridge with ice compartment, and a utility room beyond houses the washer/dryer and gives access to the rear courtyard.

A steep, open-tread wooden staircase, typical of older fisherman's cottages in the village, leads up to the first floor, where a double bedroom with its own feature fireplace sits alongside a single room. The bathroom has a smaller shower-over-bath, and there is a separate WC on the ground floor. The property sleeps three in total, making it suited to a small family or couple travelling with one child.

Outside, a narrow courtyard patio to the rear offers an enclosed spot to sit outdoors, away from the street. Bed linen, towels, electric and heating are all included in the stay. A travel cot and highchair are available on request, and up to two dogs can be accommodated, with additional charges applying.

Parking near the cottage is on-street and restricted, so guests should check local signage or use the nearby pay-and-display car park rather than relying on a dedicated space. Internet access is available at the property. With the beach, shops and pubs all within walking distance, the cottage suits guests happy to explore Instow on foot rather than by car.
