Quiet Cottage - Riverview

This single-bedroom cottage sits beside the Tamar River in Bere Alston, within the designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Two guests are accommodated in a king-size bed with an en-suite bathroom featuring a bath, waterfall shower and WC. The open-plan living space combines lounge, kitchen and dining areas, with a wood burner visible from both the lounge and bedroom (available November to end February; the first basket of logs is provided, with additional logs available to purchase from the owner). The well-equipped kitchen includes an electric oven with induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, and a Smart TV is available in the lounge. Sliding doors lead to a private patio terrace with outdoor seating and a BBQ, accessible from the bedroom and living areas or directly from the private driveway.

A private hot tub sits on a raised terrace reached by short steps from the property. The shared heated indoor swimming pool, located up the lane, can be reserved for private use; it is open daily from 9am to 6pm, with an additional Wednesday evening slot from 5pm to 9pm, running from 20 March to end of September 2026. Swedish and hot stone massage treatments are available on site, arranged directly with the owner.

Private off-road parking for two cars is provided, along with on-site electric vehicle charging (chargeable). A washing machine is housed in a utility cupboard, and towels are included. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00. Shops and pubs are 2 miles away and the nearest beach is 13 miles. No dogs are permitted at this property.
