Quayside View

Quayside View sits above the harbour in Brixham, reached by a flight of external steps up from the private driveway, where parking is provided for 2 cars, a rarity in this part of town. The house sleeps 6 across three bedrooms and one bathroom, spread over two floors, with a terraced balcony at the front looking down over the rooftops toward the harbour.

Inside, the sitting room is furnished with leather sofas positioned for the view, and a dining room leads through to a galley kitchen with a breakfast bar. The bathroom sits at the rear of the ground floor, with a back door opening onto an enclosed courtyard fitted with seating. Upstairs are three bedrooms: a king-size double with views out across the sea toward Torbay, a twin room and a bunk room for children.

The kitchen has an electric oven with hob, a microwave and a fridge/freezer, and a washing machine is fitted in the property. A TV with Freeview, DVD player, Bluetooth speaker and WiFi cover evenings in, and gas central heating runs throughout. The front patio has its own seating, separate from the enclosed courtyard at the rear.

Quayside View does not take pets, and smoking is not permitted inside. The shop, pub and beach are all around 2 minutes on foot, and the flight of external steps up to the property is worth planning around for anyone unsteady on stairs.
