Quay Cottage In Appledore

Quay Cottage sits in Appledore, close to where the rivers Taw and Torridge meet the Atlantic. The village's quayside, cobbled lanes and independent shops are within walking distance, along with a pub, restaurant and shop, and the nearest beach is around two miles away.

Inside, the ground floor centres on a lounge with original beams, a fireplace and a Smart TV. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and a washing machine, useful for cooking with produce from the local butcher or fresh fish bought nearby.

A steep staircase leads to the two bedrooms, one double and one twin, sleeping four in total. The single bathroom on this floor has a shower over the bath, and there is a separate WC. Wi-Fi is included throughout the stay.

Outside, steps from the kitchen lead to a rear garden with a lawn and a decked seating area with garden furniture. There is no dedicated parking, though roadside spaces are available subject to availability and a long-stay car park lies close by. Two dogs are welcome, with additional charges possibly applying. Bed linen and towels are provided, and check-in runs from 5pm with departure by 10am.
