This three-bedroom chalet in Croyde sleeps five and sits less than half a mile from the beach, making it a practical base for surf trips, coastal walks or simply relaxed family time. Two dogs are welcome, and private parking for two cars is included, with a 13-amp outdoor socket available for EV charging using your own compatible charger.

The open-plan ground floor brings the kitchen, dining and sitting areas together in one light-filled space. Modern kitchen units, a breakfast bar, electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and a Lor coffee machine cover everyday needs. An oak dining table seats the group, while the lounge offers two sofas, a Smart TV and an Xbox 360. A wood burner-effect electric fire adds warmth on cooler evenings.

Three bedrooms are spread through the chalet: the king-size room has patio doors opening directly onto the deck, the twin room can be zipped into a king-size on request when booking, and there is a cosy single. One bathroom with a bath and shower over serves the whole party. A travel cot and highchair are available, making the chalet well set up for families with young children.

Outside, an enclosed decked area with garden furniture provides a sheltered spot to sit after a day out. An outdoor hot shower is handy for rinsing off sand and salt before coming inside. The village's pubs, cafes and surf shops are around half a mile away on foot.
