Fernworthy

Fernworthy is a first-floor apartment beside the beach in Croyde, sleeping five across three bedrooms. A private gate leads straight onto the sand, making it a practical base for couples or small families who want the sea close at hand. Baggy Point is about a mile away for coastal walking, and the village centre, with its cafes, pubs and surf shops, is a similar distance.

The lounge has comfortable seating, a TV and sea views, and the kitchen/diner is fitted with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher, enough to put together breakfast before a day on the beach. The three bedrooms comprise a double, a twin and a single, served by one family bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC.

A private balcony with seating offers a spot to sit and look out over the water, and a shared lawned area nearby has benches for barbecues and watching the sunset. Onsite parking is included, and shops and pubs are within about a mile. Watermouth Cove, with paddleboarding and coasteering, and the wider South West Coast Path are both within reach for a day out.

As the apartment sits on the first floor with no lift, guests should be ready for stairs when carrying luggage or beach gear up to the property. Dogs are not permitted here. Arrival is from 4pm and departure is by 10am. Anyone visiting in June 2026 should note that the Oceanfest Festival takes place in a nearby field from 20th to 22nd June, which may bring extra activity to the area.
