Pilot's View

This modern, single-level property sits around one mile from Appledore, reached via a short flight of intermittent steps up to the entrance. Built as an elevated bungalow, all of the accommodation is on one floor, which suits guests who prefer to avoid internal stairs, though the approach itself does involve steps.

The lounge opens onto a patioed veranda and benefits from a bright, open feel, with a TV and DVD player for evenings in. Views stretch out to sea at the front of the property and across open countryside to the rear. The kitchen is well-equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, plus a dining table large enough for the whole party.

Sleeping four across two bedrooms, the property has a king-size master with field views and a twin room suited to children or additional adults. The single bathroom includes both a bath and a separate shower cubicle. Guests should bring their own towels, as these are not provided.

Outside, an enclosed patio accessed from the lounge takes in the same dual outlook of sea and countryside, making it a practical spot for morning coffee. There is ample off-road parking on site, along with Wi-Fi throughout, and a travel cot and highchair are available for younger guests. Shops, a pub and the beach are within around a mile, with the nearest bus stop roughly 200 metres away. Dogs are not permitted at this property.
