Pillars

Pillars stands in a cul-de-sac in Heanton Punchardon, a village near Braunton in North Devon. The detached house sleeps 6 across three bedrooms, entered through a hallway that leads into a sitting room with exposed beams, a large conservatory, a separate dining room and a kitchen with its own dining area.

The king-size double has an en-suite with shower, WC and basin, and two further twin bedrooms share a bathroom with a bath, shower over, WC and basin. A separate WC sits on the ground floor for daytime use, so guests do not need to head upstairs.

The sitting room has a living flame gas fire and sliding doors onto the terrace, opening the room up on warmer days, and central heating runs alongside it. The kitchen and utility room hold a fridge, fridge-freezer, microwave, tumble dryer, washing machine and dishwasher, and a TV with Sky, DVD and WiFi are provided. A travel cot and highchair are available on request, and two well-behaved dogs are welcome.

Outside, a south-facing enclosed courtyard garden has a patio table and chairs, and the half-acre rear garden adds four further private patio areas, including one with an ornamental pond crossed by a small footbridge, leading to a garden pavilion with circular seating for eight. Off-road parking is provided for three cars via the driveway, and flower and shrub borders frame the front of the house. Smoking is not permitted inside.
