Barton House

Barton House is a single-storey holiday home in Braunton sleeping six across three bedrooms, well suited to families or groups wanting easy living without stairs. Contemporary artwork and clean, modern finishes run throughout, and the open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area forms the heart of the house, with bi-fold doors leading straight onto the garden.

The lounge is furnished with sofas facing a Smart TV and a wood burner, with a first basket of logs supplied, plus a desk for anyone needing to work during their stay. The kitchen has ample worktop space and an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave, alongside a dining table. Along the hallway are three bedrooms: a super-king-size, a king-size and a twin, served by a bathroom with bath, shower and WC, and a separate tiled shower room with walk-in shower and WC.

Outside, the enclosed garden combines raised decking with a lawn and outdoor seating, and the bi-fold doors allow the space to be opened up in fine weather. Off-road parking is available for two cars at the front of the property, and internet access is provided. Two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply.

The property sits within walking distance of Braunton, where shops, pubs and cafes can be reached in around half a mile, including the nearby Williams Arms. Arrival is from 4pm and departure before 10am, and a travel cot and highchair are available for younger visitors.
