Gladstone

This three-storey cottage sits in Braunton, Devon, with space for six guests across three bedrooms. The open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner forms the main living space, with a bay window and a wood burner facing a Smart TV, plus a dining area for meals in.

The kitchen is fitted with a dual-fuel Rangemaster stove, a five-ring gas hob, an electric double oven, a fridge with ice box, a microwave and a dishwasher, alongside a separate utility room with washing machine and freezer. A wet room with shower and WC completes the ground floor.

Upstairs, the first floor holds the king-size bedroom with its en-suite shower room and a further double bedroom. The second floor brings a twin bedroom, a family bathroom with bath and shower over, and a snug with its own TV, though guests should note restricted head height on this top level.

Outside, a courtyard garden and front patio are furnished for sitting out, and there is outhouse storage for surfboards and bikes. Parking is on the roadside and subject to availability rather than guaranteed on site. Internet access is provided, and a travel cot, stairgate and highchair are supplied for younger children. Two dogs are welcome, with additional charges applying. A pub lies around 150 metres away and a shop half a mile off, while guests are asked to bring their own beach towels.
