Paddles

Set across three floors in Appledore, Paddles sleeps six and looks out across the estuary towards the sea from many of its rooms. The steep, cottage-style stairs connect all three levels, so this layout suits guests who are comfortable with traditional stairways.

The ground floor opens into a bright kitchen/diner fitted with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, and microwave. Bi-folding doors lead out to the enclosed patio, and additional seating just inside lets you take in the estuary outlook at any time of year. A Smart TV sits in the kitchen/diner, and a separate lounge on an upper floor has a Smart TV and Blu-ray player. A shower room with WC is also on the ground floor.

Two double bedrooms occupy the first and second floors, each positioned so you can look out to sea from the bed; a twin room is also on the first floor. The second-floor bathroom has a shower over the bath and WC. Outside, the enclosed patio has a table and seating for al fresco time with views across the estuary.

Parking is not on-site: a public pay-and-display car park and roadside spaces are roughly a two-minute walk away, subject to availability. Up to two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply. A travel cot and highchair are available on request, and pubs and shops are within easy walking distance of the cottage.
