Owls Roost

Owls Roost is attached to an ancient farmhouse about two miles from Combe Martin village and three miles from the beach, laid out on a reverse level with the living space upstairs. A hall with a slate floor leads up to a sitting room with an electric fire and a glimpse of the sea, and a kitchen with a dining area and glass doors onto a balcony above the garden.

Two bedrooms are downstairs, a king-size double and a twin, each with its own en-suite shower room. Upstairs, a further king-size double has an en-suite bathroom with a bath for two. The cottage sleeps 6 across the three bedrooms and three bathrooms.

The kitchen has a fridge-freezer, microwave, tumble dryer, washing machine and dishwasher, and a Smart TV and WiFi cover evenings in. A cot, highchair and stairgate are available on request. The property draws on a private water supply that is tested regularly, and electric vehicles cannot be charged here.

Outside, a hot tub in a converted barn holds up to five people, with its own changing room, shower and outdoor furniture; it is available until 8pm or later by arrangement and is closed on Thursdays. A lawn garden has space for games and a barbecue.

Off-road parking is provided for three cars. No pets are allowed and the property is no smoking. Combe Martin's beach, shops, pubs and a wildlife park are within reach, with Woolacombe, Ilfracombe and the Coast Path all nearby for day trips.
