Bay View Bungalow

Bay View Bungalow sits in Combe Martin, near Ilfracombe, and sleeps six across three bedrooms. Note that 22 steps lead up to the front entrance, so this is not a property for those who struggle with stairs. Once inside, the layout is single-storey and bright, with a kitchen, living and dining space forming the main living area.

The king-bedded room has an en-suite shower room and French doors opening onto the outdoor seating area. The second bedroom has a superking bed, which can be set up as twin beds on request, and the third bedroom has two single beds, one of which is a pull-out trundle, suitable for children. A separate family shower room serves the remaining bedrooms. The kitchen has an induction hob, double oven, microwave, dishwasher, air-fryer and washer/dryer, and there's a smart TV with a Blu-ray player in the living space.

Outside, the enclosed garden is arranged in tiers with lawn, flower beds and a patio area, and includes a fenced-off section for dogs alongside a bistro table. Up to two dogs are welcome, with additional charges applying. A lockable shed stores up to two bicycles, though there isn't room for surfboards. A highchair and travel cot are available on request, useful for families travelling with young children.

Parking is on-street rather than private, and internet access is provided. The beach, a pub and a shop are all around half a mile away. Arrival is from 4pm and departure before 10am. The property is decorated for Christmas during the festive season.
