Osprey 1 - The Cove

Osprey 1 sits at the far end of the front row of The Cove, a private gated development of 38 apartments near Brixham harbour. Positioned on the ground floor, it was originally designed by the scheme architect for personal use, which accounts for a few features not found elsewhere on site: American-style shutters on most windows, a larger overall floor area, and one of the most private spots in the development with virtually no passing foot traffic.

The open-plan kitchen, dining and living area opens through full-height patio doors onto a terrace furnished for outdoor dining. The master bedroom has its own sliding doors to the same terrace, and both it and the lounge look out over Torbay, where fishing trawlers, sailing boats and passenger ferries make up a constantly shifting view. The twin bedroom has two single beds, built-in wardrobes and a TV. The tiled bathroom features a walk-in shower, eliminating the need to step over a bath. A washer-dryer, dishwasher, espresso machine and electric hob are included in the kitchen.

Residents have access to the on-site heated outdoor pool, open May to September, though management may close it at short notice for weather or environmental reasons. Each apartment has a dedicated numbered parking space, and wi-fi, bed linen and towels are all included. The South West Coast Path runs directly behind the development, and there is private access to the pebble beach at Fishcombe Cove below.

The property sleeps four and does not accept pets. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00.
