8 Chestnut Drive

8 Chestnut Drive is a single-storey cottage in Brixham, sleeping 4 across a king-size and a twin bedroom, both on the same level as the rest of the cottage. A study near the front door gives space for last-minute work before the sitting room takes over.

The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, with air conditioning in the kitchen and the conservatory, which doubles as the dining room. There's a TV and WiFi throughout, and gas central heating covers the cottage.

The bathroom has a bath with a hand-held shower, a separate walk-in shower, a basin and WC. Steps run throughout the property between rooms.

St Mary's Bay is close by for joining the South West Coast Path, and Berry Head National Nature Reserve, Brixham Heritage Museum and Brixham Harbour Lighthouse are all within reach along the coast. Paignton Zoo Environmental Park and Paignton Pier make for a family day out, and Torquay's museum and the Babbacombe Cliff Railway are a short drive further on.

Outside, a private driveway takes 3 cars, and the front garden has a lawn but is not enclosed. The rear garden is fully enclosed with a lawn, patio and furniture, plus apple trees and blackberry bushes. 8 Chestnut Drive welcomes two well-behaved dogs, and smoking is not permitted. The shop and pub are both 0.4 miles away, with the beach 1.6 miles.
