This first-floor apartment sits right by the beach in Croyde, with a private gate leading straight onto the sand. It sleeps up to six across three bedrooms, each fitted with a super king zip-and-link bed that can be split into twins on request.

The hallway offers a practical spot to leave sandy shoes before heading into the open-plan lounge and diner, where a TV and sofas make for an easy evening in. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher, so self-catering for a group is straightforward. Between the three bedrooms there are two bathrooms: one with a shower and WC, and one en-suite shower room and WC.

Step outside onto the private balcony, furnished with seating, or make use of the communal lawned area shared with other apartments, complete with benches for picnicking and watching the sea. Onsite parking is provided free of charge, and shops and pubs are within walking distance. As the apartment is on the first floor, note that there is no lift.

This is a no-dogs property, making it a good option for groups without pets. Arrival is from 4pm and departure before 10am. The beachfront setting and direct access onto the sand suit those wanting to spend their days close to the water without a drive to get there.
