Croyde Farm Cottage

A three-bedroom cottage in Croyde sleeping up to six, set within 400 metres of the village centre and a mile from the sandy beach. Low oak beams and an inglenook fireplace give the interior character, while underfloor heating and a wood burner in the snug keep things comfortable whatever the season. Logs are not included, so bring your own or source them locally.

The ground floor layout works well for a group: the kitchen-diner opens directly into the snug, which has leather armchairs and a wood burner, and a utility cupboard off the hallway houses the washing machine, tumble dryer and a separate WC. Upstairs, three bedrooms share a first-floor landing lit by a ceiling window. The master king-size has its own en-suite with a walk-in shower and WC; the second king-size and twin share the family bathroom, which has a double shower over the bath. Kitchen equipment includes a dishwasher, American-style fridge freezer with water cooler, electric cooker and hob, microwave and a Nespresso pod coffee machine.

Outside, two private patio areas serve different purposes. The decking outside the master king-size room holds a patio set for four and a dining table for six. At the rear, reached through the kitchen, a bistro area seats four, though this space is not secure for dogs; the front patio should be used instead. The garden beyond the front patio is private property and not available to guests. Parking is provided for two cars.

Two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply. The village puts a pub just over 150 metres away, with restaurants, surf shops and ice cream parlours all close by. The property can be booked alongside the adjacent Croyde Farm Barn, which accommodates a further six guests.
