Beach Cottage

Beach Cottage in Croyde sits roughly 250 metres from the beach, making it a practical base for surfing, bodyboarding and coastal walking. The 1920s house has been refurbished throughout and sleeps six across three first-floor bedrooms: one king-size, one twin zip-and-link (convertible to a super-king on request) and one twin. Two bathrooms serve the house, a shower room with WC on the ground floor and a bathroom with shower over bath and WC on the first floor.

The ground floor opens into a lounge with wood-panelled flooring and a large bay window, leading through to a kitchen equipped with an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher and Nespresso machine. A washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer sit in the utility room alongside a surfboard rack, and the glass-topped dining table seats all six guests.

Outside, the front garden is enclosed lawn, while the rear has a raised deck and patio with garden furniture, a BBQ and an outdoor shower for rinsing down boards and sandy feet. Two cars fit on the private driveway, and an on-site EV charger is payable via the TAP billing app. A shared indoor pool with rapids and slides is 200 metres away at a neighbouring holiday park, with charges payable on arrival.

A Smart TV, highchair, travel cot and stairgate are all provided. Up to three dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply. The master bedroom has sea views, and the Southwest Coast Path runs directly beside the property, connecting to Baggy Point and National Trust trails along the North Devon coast. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure by 10:00.
