One Mine Cottage

One Mine Cottage sits in Combe Martin, near Ilfracombe, and sleeps four across two first-floor bedrooms. The king-size room and the second bedroom, which has a double bed and a bunk bed with a pull-out trundle, each have a Smart TV, though the trundle is an extra sleeping option rather than additional capacity.

The ground floor holds an open-plan lounge and kitchen with a Smart TV and an electric-effect wood burner for evenings in. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, slimline dishwasher, fridge freezer and a washer/dryer. A single bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC completes this floor.

Steps from the back of the cottage lead up to an enclosed decked garden with seating and a charcoal barbecue. At the top of the garden is a separate work hub with bi-fold doors, a desk, an Apple computer, a Smart TV and a table football set, useful for anyone combining a break with remote work; fibre-optic broadband serves the property throughout.

Up to three dogs can stay, with additional charges possibly applying, and a travel cot is available for younger guests. There is no private parking, though pay-and-display public car parks lie within around a mile, as do pubs, shops and the beach. Arrival is from 4pm and departure by 10am.
