Old Anvil Cottage

Old Anvil Cottage sits in a small stone-walled enclave in the centre of Chudleigh's conservation area, a few oak steps up from its own private walled parking area for two cars. The single-storey cottage was converted in 2015 from a skittle alley and function room, and sleeps 4 across two en-suite bedrooms.

Inside, an open-plan living space with a gallery ceiling holds the kitchen, dining area and sitting room, plus a small balcony off the lounge with distant views to Haytor on Dartmoor on clear days. The king-size bedroom has an en-suite with a freestanding bath and a separate walk-in shower, while the double bedroom has its own en-suite shower room, and a cloakroom with basin and WC serves the living areas.

The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, grill and induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and a coffee machine, and the sitting room has a Smart TV and WiFi. A front courtyard, reached through the parking area, is enclosed for outdoor meals and mornings with coffee.

Old Anvil Cottage takes no pets and is no smoking, with a shop and pub around 0.1 miles away. Bookings run weekly and end on a Saturday, and gas central heating with fuel and power included covers the whole stay.
