Morning Barn

This converted barn stands in the village of Langtree, near Great Torrington in North Devon, and sleeps up to six people across three bedrooms. Ground level is given over to an open-plan kitchen/diner, fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and a chest freezer tucked under the stairs, along with a washing machine. A separate lounge leads off this space, with a corner sofa, Smart TV/DVD player and a stock of board games, books and puzzles for evenings in.

Upstairs, the first-floor landing gives access to two double bedrooms and a bunk bedroom, suited to a family group or two couples sharing. The single bathroom, fitted with a shower over the bath and WC, serves all three bedrooms, so this is worth bearing in mind for larger groups wanting more than one wash at once. A highchair is available for younger visitors.

Outside, the staircase from the first-floor landing leads directly down to a shared village playground at the rear of the property, useful for families with young children, though dogs are not permitted there. A small private area with seating sits alongside, enclosed by fencing, though it has no grass, so it suits sitting out rather than pets running free. One dog is welcome to stay in the property itself, with an additional charge that may apply.

Parking is allocated for one car on a shared driveway, with further roadside parking available nearby subject to space. Internet access is provided. The village has a pub serving drinks only, while a second pub around 1.4 miles away serves food as well. Arrival is from 16:30 and departure is before 10:00.
