Harvest Granary Cottage

Harvest Granary Cottage is the largest converted barn on a working farm complex near Langtree, close to Torrington in North Devon, sleeping five across three bedrooms. A king-size room has its own en-suite shower room, a zip-and-link twin can be pre-arranged as a super-king, and a single room fits a junior bed for children up to five years old on request. A separate family bathroom with shower over bath serves the remaining bedrooms.

The kitchen is well stocked for self-catering: electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, Nespresso machine with milk frother, and a bread-making machine with complimentary bread mix. A washer/dryer is also provided. A breakfast table sits within the kitchen/diner for relaxed mornings, while a separate dining room suits more formal evening meals. The lounge has two sofas, two armchairs, a TV with DVD player, and an electric fire. A highchair and travel cot can both be arranged in advance, and no dogs are permitted.

Outside, an enclosed garden with a generous patio and outdoor furniture gives children plenty of room, and a charcoal BBQ is available on request. The wider 8-acre complex is included in your stay, with indoor and outdoor play areas, a gnome garden, woodland paths, a fairy walk, and animal enclosures housing alpacas, a miniature donkey, pygmy goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs and a goose. Each morning guests can join the owners for animal feeding, egg collecting and a tractor ride.

Parking is provided for one car, with extra spaces available on request. A village shop and pub are around two miles away, making it easy to pick up supplies or eat out without a lengthy drive.
