Moorings

Moorings sits on the hillside in Kingswear, across the River Dart from Dartmouth, and sleeps 8 across four bedrooms on three floors. A mosaic-tiled porch leads down to the lower-ground-floor kitchen and dining room, which look out over the river through floor-to-ceiling sliding doors onto a decked balcony.

The first-floor bedroom has a king-size bed, its own en-suite shower room and a private balcony over the marina and Dartmouth. Three further bedrooms are on the entry-level ground floor: a king-size, a twin and a children's bunk room, sharing a shower room. A separate lower-ground-floor bathroom has a bath, handheld shower, a further separate shower, basin and WC.

The lower-ground floor also holds a utility room and a sitting room with an electric fire, warmed along with the rest of the house by oil-fired central heating. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer, plus a smart TV, WiFi and a selection of games. Steps lead down from the decked balcony to a lower garden, and a passenger ferry crosses to Dartmouth for its shops, restaurants and Dartmouth Castle.

Moorings sleeps a maximum of 6 adults and 2 children, and welcomes 1 dog. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available. Smoking is strictly not permitted, and on-street parking is available close by. The shop is around 0.3 miles away and the pub about 0.4 miles.
