Genista

This house in Kingswear is arranged over three levels and sleeps eight, making it suited to extended families or groups of friends travelling together. The ground floor holds an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area with a table for eight, plus a separate utility space and an open fire in the sitting area.

The first floor has three bedrooms, two with king-size beds and one fitted with bunk beds, served by a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC in the same room, plus a separate cloakroom WC on this level. A self-contained flat occupies the top floor, offering a private kitchen and a large en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, opening onto its own balcony looking over the creek toward Dartmouth, making it a practical option for a couple travelling as part of a larger group.

Outside, two decked terraces provide space for dining and sitting outdoors, both taking in the water views, along with a smaller decked area at the rear that catches the morning sun. Parking is allocated for one car only, so a second vehicle would need to be left elsewhere. A highchair is provided for younger guests, and the kitchen includes a dishwasher and washing machine alongside the usual cooking equipment.

Two dogs are welcome, with additional charges applying. The property sits in a residential part of the village, so guests are asked to be considerate of neighbours nearby. A shop and pub are within half a mile, and internet access is available throughout the house.
